TechCrunch 50: Day One

Yesterday was the first day of TechCrunch50, which I appropriately saw described in a tweet as not “mecca” but “tech-a.” My presence here is really investigative in two senses: 1) discovering tools that RPT can use in its business operations and for production purposes and 2) to look for projects that fall into the scope of what we care about “digital tools, real change.”

Thus far, we have seen a lot of things that are useful, both from the perspective of our public affairs and public relations team as “information brokers,” but we have not seen anything that is going to “change the world” yet.

Still on the search, maybe they have yet to present.
