RealPolitech: Pursuit, possession and application of people power. Online and off.

We are excited to be growing the RPT team and are looking for some great interns to work with us for the 2009-2010 academic year. We have some awesome projects coming down the pipeline, with exciting opportunities to shake up the voter mobilization world as well as work with some national non-profits looking to revamp their online style.

REALPOLITECH is a social technology firm dedicated to the pursuit, possession and application of people power, both online and off. Based out of Santa Monica, CA, we focus on making organizations, individuals and brands interactive, creating sticky virtual connections that lead to real results for our clients.

Our services, whether website development, interactive live webcasts, hosting online dialogues or engaging in digital public relations, are focused on the quality of interaction between organizations, leaders, and brands and their constituents and fans.

REALPOLITECH’s on and offline campaign teams are seeking Strategy and eCampaigns Interns to help manage client campaigns and outreach in both the real and virtual worlds.

Interns will:

* Write content for mass communications, website copy and blog posts;
* Use web tools and new media technologies to execute online strategy;
* Monitor relevant blogs, social networks, and web forums;
* Foster on and offline partnerships; and
* Participate in the planning and implementation of on and offline public affairs campaigns.

Interns should have:

* Have completed or be in progress of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Political Science, Public Policy, Marketing, Communications or a related field;
* Be proficient in programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
* Possess strong oral and written communication skills;
* Possess a need to be creative and think “without the box” ; and
* Previous experience with non-profit, advocacy, or political organizations a plus.

Location: Santa Monica or Sacramento.

Compensation: Intern (potential for commission related to client development).
