Check it Out: Buick Kicks It Old School with TV Commercial

We are up late often here at REALPOLITECH, and consequently, have the TV often droning on in the background. Much to my surprise, I hear Ini Kamoze’s “Here Comes the Hotstepper” on the tube. Looking up, I realize it is a commercial for Buick!

This gets a Check it Out for taking a car that I would guess is primarily purchased by an older demographic (alright, I am fairly certain) and using a tune that is definitely familiar from this crew’s junior high and early high school days. The song sticks in my head, but so does the product since it was such a mismatch.
